AFTER DEATH: THE PREFACE

Death! Death is a funny thing. If we all go to a better place when we die, then why are we so scared of dying? Why do we scream or cry when at the point of drawing our last breath? Even with all the difficulty in living in this painful world why do we still prefer it to dying and going to a better place?

Maybe it’s because deep down in our hearts we know there is no better place. Maybe it is because it is planted in our sub conscious that when we die, where we go is actually worse. Or maybe we don’t go anywhere and we rather prefer to exist than not to.
Heaven and hell! These places are fairy tales that scare children and make them to be good. It is a wonder how so many in the world have been deceived by this fairy tale, made to worship an all seeing and all-knowing God that no one can prove without a reasonable doubt that he exists. The only proof he exists are books that no one knows for sure who wrote them.
Religion is the biggest fraud in the world. All it causes is division between people. Christians and Muslims cannot sit next to each other. Most killings in the world are done in the name of religion. The catholic Calvary in ancient Europe, Al Qaeda and ISIS in present middle east, all done for a god who apparently cannot fight his own battles. And what is the compensation for all these inhumane killings? Heaven. While those who don’t believe in his existence but live good, moral lives end up in a lake of fire. How is this even fair? After death, no one knows what happens. But what I am sure of is that there is absolutely no better place.
