Can you give us a brief introduction of yourself?

full name is Okoronkwo Onyebuchi Kingsley. Am from Alayi in Bende LGA in Abia
state. Am the third child in my family. And I love God and so in love with
music

How did you get to know Funai and why did you Choose it? Because I know it
wasn't popular then

got to know FUNAI through my online research, I heard about
the new universities established by the way then president, so I decided to check the out, so I got to know FUNAI.

wrote FUNAI's post utme in 2013 but didn't make it to the school, I tried again
in 2014 and got admitted

How do you see life in school then and life in school now?

Well honestly I like FUNAI then

FUNAI now is so crowded with people and things are now too noisy. Security
issues occuring everywhere. Then things were quiet and the school could at
least contain the students, but now the
school capacity cannot carry the number of students

When you came to FUNAI I guess there were a lot of Chapels, what attracted you
to CHAPEL OF RESTORATION

my first week and on a Sunday I was passing the temp site auditorium where
services were held then, I heard the music, the melody coming from the choir's
voices, hmmmmmm I was drawn. Next Sunday I joined, and from that Sunday I
joined till now, I have never left the chapel for any other church in school or
outside the school. So you can call me "CORE BASE BOY"'

gave me multiple talents, and rap is one of the talents. I started rapping when
I was 8, I used to have a radio that I carry around playing rap songs because
my uncles love rap songs so I joined

Then I did secular rap, until God gave me a promise to use my talents for Him.
Since then I decided to preach with my lyrics and rap. I don't want to rap like
others or flow like them, I just want to pass a message when I grab the mic

That's why I don't like competition, because preaching the gospel don't mean
and is not a competition

Also I love free styles when rapping because it gives me the chance to say
anything I want without being restricted by my lyrics

How do you see leadership?

Leadership is a sweet thing. It avails one the opportunity to serve people.
Leadership to me is full of sacrifices

What are the Challenges You Faced being a leader

Several challenges, but the one I will point out is.... the challenge in making
everyone feel involve and committed in service. Also knowing the fact, we have
different opinions, it was really hard to make everyone see reasons to your
opinion as a leader

Because some people are hard nuts to crack, strongly opinionated

What advice can you give to the present Leaders

important advice I will give them is for them to know that leadership is all
about sacrifices. In the course of service, you will experience a lot of
issues, but your ability to see yourself as a servant makes you overcome all
odds

leader should see himself or herself as a servant that will make things easy
for you

have learnt, so that's why I feel great because I will be going out into the
field to practice
