SUNDAY STORIES BY GOSPEL PEACE (3RD JULY)

3rd of June 2016 was fantastic and today, Daddy! Was in attendance. How we have missed his presence. There was something really special about today's service (if you missed it, sorry). So let's go into it shall we?
As usual, the church service began with general intercession to inaugurate the service. What a mouthful, 'inaugurate'. That's by the way, the intercession came to a close by 8am which is the Bible study time for CORE. After that, the school of word took over and the topic 'The alter' was extensively treated.
Thankfully, I got to stay in 'my' class not 'our'. I find it more relaxing to be with my "classmates". Classmates! Funny. So I am sure all the teachers got to fully treat the topic extensively. It was very insightful. Getting to know that my heart was an altar made me feel really important. That alter that must be serviced daily is our hearts, though we have corporate alters and alters in churches, the ultimate alter is our heart. Uh-huh big ups to SOW. you guys rock.
The moderator, Samuel Dominic came up looking like royalty. Well, not a surprise at all, After all we are a royal priesthood.
But there is something with the names I just don't get. Last week we had Van Dame... Sorry I mean Van Collins, huh!
Moving on, the worship team was called and my ex-bunky and beautiful chorister, Irene Ukpai led the session backed up by her crew while God himself directed. Spirits were lifted and lives were touched. At least I know mine was. This worship paved the way for the intercession by Mr Princewill Okechukwu. What a glorious session. Thank you sir.
After this the hot praise began, led my Onyebuchi Kingsley, A.K.A O.O. Kings, A.K.A MD of the Kingdom restorers.
Oh M G! See me do the crazy dance! It was the first Sunday of July, we just had to drop our big-boy and big-girlness and dance to the Lord. Thank you praise team.
Next was the testimonies and special presentation time with spirit-filled musical renditions by Vicsing, Kings, e.t.c. The Mission New Nigeria coordinator, Sammy James Awoke also came up for his little talk and words of stinging encouragement.
People think twice before you throw your nylons, satchets and general wastes out your door. Gospel peace said it.
Ministrations came next and the CDM crew came up with their insightful drama 'choose ye this day whom you shall serve'. I choose God. What about you?
To cap it all up, the wonderful KR came up with their soulful song led by Nora and Rose. 🎶 no body's greater than You 🎶 No greater power than you 🎶. I felt so good. Yummy! Where else to get filled than in the presence of the Lord?
This ministration ushered in the next and most important segment, drum rolls please! Daddy Okezie came up as a prophet for his prophetic declaration.
When I see daddy, I see God's manifestation. This has promoted me to write this letter.
Dear daddy, you are so awesome! Yours sincerely, Gospel Peace.
He made sure all were present with their hard-copy Bible and not E-Bible! He also chastised those who only had E bibles! Church, I will like to confess, Daddy didn't see My E Bible so I wasn't publicly chastised. It's not my fault though. It's just grace! Don't worry, I confessed later on.
Now to serious matter. We began with a song of spiritual consciousness and uplift and also a short prayer. Daddy seperated the finalists and made them feel special. I literally died of Godly envy. He encouraged them and called them horses that had 'holiness unto the Lord' written on their belts. I can't wait to be a horse. That didn't sound right, but that's just it. Zach 14: 20, Habakkuk 1: 8 and 2 Tim 2: 6 should be read by those who didn't come to church so they can appreciate our 'husbandman' daddy!
They (finalists) were prayed for by the church and executives in the assembly and were anointed to go and do exploits and to share the anointing. I hope you shared finalists? Don't enjoy speed complimented with accuracy alone.

Finally, offerings and tithes were given and Mr Kings took the opportunity to make the church wiggle to the Lord. Talking about 'I me o tu a!' Thank you Kings.
Ehen! Before I forget, papa John Okwute now serves as an usher so think twice before coming late. Wish I had a picture to back that up, but I promise to get you one next Sunday. Big ups to you on your promotion. God bless you and may your service be true.
The secretary announced important weekly activities after the first timer was welcomed and asked to wait behind after service. Daddy pointed out the use or overuse of offering box and I am sure the church is working towards it. The service ended with prayers also. I love CORE. I love the body of Christ there. I love all of you my faithful readers. See you next week for another write up on Sunday Stories with Gospel Peace. Raaaaaaaaaaa!
